- I will never physically or mentally abuse any woman.
- I will remain committed to the elimination of violence against women.
Constitutional Foundation
Every citizen of India, irrespective of gender, has the fundamental right to education and employment in an environment that ensures safety, equality, and dignity. The Constitution of India guarantees:
- Article 14 – Right to Equality
- Article 19 – Protection of certain freedoms
- Article 21 – Right to Life and Personal Liberty
These provisions collectively uphold gender equality and the right to live and work with dignity. It is therefore the responsibility of every institution to protect and promote these fundamental rights for all employees and students, both male and female.
Historically, women have faced various challenges in workplaces and educational institutions. This underscores the need for structured mechanisms to safeguard women’s rights, ensure safety, and provide equal opportunities.
